This year our 8th grade students will be taking a Holland based career assessment in their History class.  The assessment asks basic task related questions.  Upon completion students receive their top three career interest areas.
The Holland types are broken into the following categories: Investigative, Artistic, Enterprising, Realistic, Social, and Conventional. 

After taking the assessment, LOMS will host a Career Expo on February 12, 2009, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Students will have the opportunity to visit exhibits and interview parents and community members who represent careers in the above categories. We look forward to this being an informative and stimulating event for everyone involved.
